Rich, Tim and family, you have my sincere sympathy. I had not seen your mother in many years, but did talk to her on the phone. May God grant you His comfort. She is with Him.

Rich, Cindy, Tim, I am sorry to hear about Aunt Wonda. However we can be comforted that she is not in pain where she is as I'm sure she is with Uncle Dick and he's showing her around heaven. May you Be comforted by all your memories, family, and friends

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mrs Waugh kindly helped me start my display in Nov. 2000 for her nephew, Army Sp4 Gary Edwards that is in Washington Irving Elelmentary School in Hammond, Indiana. SP4 Edwards was awarded a silver star for taking out an enemy machine gun position singlehandedly in January 1967 while wounded and out of rifle ammo losing his life in the process. I grew up near him and his brother Kenny Edwards and also attended Irving School.

Rich, Cindy, and Tim, Sara and I were saddened to hear of your mother's departure. We have many wonderful memories that go back several decades. Because of our work situations, and also because of the time of the funeral, neither one of us will be able to be present with you. I would like to leave you with a word of comfort and admonition at this time. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die". --Sincerely, Al and Sara Stoner
