brutally murdered on
November 23, 2017 in
Montego Bay, Jamaica, West Indies. She is survived by her parents Andrea and Gairy, her sisters Mariah and Chloe, brothers Lasaun and Kamell, maternal grandparents Edward and Judith, paternal grandparents Morris and Hyacinth, Aunts Peggy and Kelly, Uncle Peter, cousins Kiah, Kylie, Ceejay, Justin. Several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. All her friends around the world, especially those here in Queens, and the communities of NYC, our hometown of Hollis. Desiree loved life and cherished every moment
of it! No regrets! Services are scheduled for Friday,

THOMAS F. DALTON FUNERAL HOME, 125 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Hours: 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Incarnation Church, 89-43 Francis Lewis Blvd., Queens Village, NY 11427 at 9:15 am. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:00am at St. John's United Methodist Church of Elmont, 2105
Stuart Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a donation to St. Jude's Hospital for Children. Come dressed in bright
colors and celebrate the life of Desi with us!

Just found out about Desi....
My heart hurts... my daughter and Desi are just a few years apart.
I remember meeting her when she was just a teenager.
She was sooooo special and abundantly loved from her mom and aunt!
It's horrific what has happened to her, but, because she's gone, the life that was taken away unexpectedly, can be a loud and enormous voice for past victims, and god forbid... victims in the future.
Let's let's the loss of this amazing, beautiful, and vibrant young women be an solution to corruption in the Caribbean and the resorts that we are supposed to feel safe.
Des.. you will be the example and resolution to what's been going on in these islands.
