ADAM SANDBERG

SANDBERG--Adam Mark. Suddenly, and much too soon, Adam Mark Sandberg passed away on March 17th, 2021 in New York City, at the age of 47, due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Adam and his family moved to the United States in the early 1980's. After graduating from Boston College, Adam sought to combine his Swedish heritage with his interest in finance, and became a skilled and respected institutional equity salesperson of Scandinavian stocks to U.S. hedge funds. He spent 20 years working in the New York office of Carnegie Investment Bank AB, headquartered in Stockholm. Adam loved living in New York City and enjoyed all that it had to offer. But he was happiest at his beach house on Towd Point Road in Southampton, NY, or on his sailboat, Embla, moored at the Sag Harbor Yacht Yard, which he was proud to be a part of. Adam is survived by his parents Joyce and Richard, brother Daniel, sister-in-law Cathrine, and much adored nieces Nathalie and Julia, all residing in Stockholm. His numerous friends around the world, sailing teammates, work colleagues, and clients already miss his boundless energy, infectious laugh, and incredible thoughtfulness and generosity. Adam was laid to rest in Stockholm on April 23rd, 2021. Rest in peace. Vila i frid.
