ALAN WESELEY

WESELEY--Dr. Alan C. Dr. Alan C. Weseley passed away at home on October 23rd, 2022. Son of Shirley and Harry Weseley and twin brother of Martin, he is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sandra, his adoring children, Mitchell, Peter, and Allyson, their spouses, Randie, Lisa and Sara, and his eight grandchildren. Dr. Weseley was an ophthalmologist who practiced in Manhattan and Brooklyn for 45 years. He was a surgeon director and chief of the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary for three decades. He trained and inspired hundreds of ophthalmology residents there and at the Lenox Hill Hospital. He will be remembered and missed by his family and the countless patients and physicians whose lives he touched.
