ALBERT FEY Obituary

FEY--Albert E., of Briarcliff Manor, NY died on June 13, 2014 after a brief pulmonary illness. He was born in Dearborn, MI on June 6, 1933. Al is survived by his wife, Marguerite Fey; daughter, Nancy Fey Walker (Evan); son, Daniel; stepdaughters Holly Boes (Larry) and Aimee McGuire (John); 2 grandsons and 5 step-grandchildren. Al was predeceased by his first wife, Norma Fey and second wife, Judith Fey. Al graduated from the University of Michigan Engineering School 55. He was a devoted fan of the Wolverines, and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He graduated from George Washington Law School 58. A senior partner at Fish & Neave LLP (now Ropes & Gray), he was a renowned patent litigator and member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Al was generous of spirit, a universally loved man. Extremely active throughout his life, he spent countless hours on the golf course and ski slopes surrounded by family and friends. Al will be greatly missed as a patriarch, force of nature and friend to all. In lieu of flowers, please give to the University of Michigan. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 on June 27th at Scarborough Presbyterian Church, 655 Scarborough Rd., Briarcliff Manor, NY.

Doubtful you'll remember me, but, I heard of your fathers passing and wanted to send my condolances. I lost my father as well and know the saddness. A wise friend said to me; "Mourn the loss, but, celebrate the life." Take care!
