Alexander Zalman Obituary

ZALMAN-Alexander, 83. Died on Saturday, May 4, 2002 in Tamarac, FL. He is survived by Freda, devoted wife of 55 years, brother Gilbert, sister Peggy, three sons, Richard, Joseph and Andrew, two daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Alex was a highly decorated WWII veteran & an innovative inventor and manufacturer of products for his business, Electro-Optix. A memorial service will be held at Star of David at 11:45 A.M., on Tuesday, May 7th in Tamarac, FL.

Uncle Al was a big man - big in heart and spirt.

He was always ready with a helping hand and a kind word. His generosity was extended even to those he knew little.

Unswervingly devoted to his family, he adored his beautiful wife, Freda. He was enormously proud of his three fine sons and he showered love unsparingly on his grandchildren.

We were proud and blessed to have him as our uncle.

Big Uncle Al made earth a better place. Our loss is heaven's gain.

We shall miss his terribly.

Thank you grandpa for 24 years of love, kindness, and invaluable life lessons. I missed you before you were gone, every moment in life that we were apart. I hope that my presence brought you comfort and peace in your final days.
