An extraordinary spirit--wonderful writer and parent--as well as "keeper of the flame.". "You've Got To Be Carefully Taught"--indeed--she was taught in all the RIGHT ways and lived accordingly. My favorite remark? When asked what race her adopted Asian-American children were she replied, "The human race!" RIP dear lady. Brilliant!
