Rew,
Thank you for continuing to visit me (and laugh) in my dreams. While I am astounded that it has been ten years since I last heard that laugh for real, I think of you often and wonder what your life would look like now. I know we would still be great friends and would continue to wonder who the most ridiculous one at the table is.
Miss you always!

Andrew, has it really been 10 years? It seems like just last week that we were dancing to Cascada in London and having all kinds of fun for your birthday in Paris. Your smile, your energy and your Love remains constant in the lives of the people who miss you so dearly. I miss you my friend.

Dear Andrew
Words can't express how much I miss you.. The great times we had at work .. Pictures, laughter, everything. Things aren't the same and you made an impact in my heart and you will never be forgotten. You always had a smile and you always knew what to say to put a smile on my face. Your songs you would play over and over .. And over .. Songs that i hear always remind me of you and i start thinking of your dance moves.. And how you would get super excited and so into the song.
your famous phrase " do my calves look big" oh man. Great times.. And times I will always treasure deeply in my heart .. I miss you dearly, miss your smile. That smile that would make any dark room..light up. Your smile was brighter then the sun.
My prayers go out to your family.
I miss you.

Magic Yasi,
The entire universe wants to kiss your pain away.
Have you seen the stars lately? They've been sparkling overtime. It seems they want to illuminate your path so you can see in the dark.
Any idea who might have asked them to twinkle extra bright? The other night I swear I heard a Britney song blasting down from the heavens.
Nobody can imagine how much you and your family are hurting. All your life you've given unconditional love and support to others. Now is your time to receive.
We are here for you, always.
Hold on beautiful Princess.
There's a lot more dancing to do.
On nights when it's hard to hear the music, maybe try looking at the stars...
We love you Yasi.

Life does not seem fair at times and people we love are taken from this world all too soon....maybe this young man was sent here to give us all, strangers included, a better understanding of the importance of living each day to the full, having no regrets and caring about one another.

Andrew was one of my oldest friends, one of those people that you grow up with and then, as time and life goes by, you reconnect and value the friendship even more. he was always so positive, with a huge smile and laugh....he could literally fill a room with his energy. andrew was, in short, unforgettable. so, while he is gone, i suppose we have to live in his "unforgettable-ness", savor the countless beautiful memories he gave us all. these are gifts that we can hold on to, and cherish when we are feeling sad. so, yasmin, continue to love and be proud of your beautiful son. he wouldn't want you to be sad. i have rarely seen a son adore his mother as much as andrew adored you. he spoke about you constantly, about your beauty and about how supportive and giving you were to him and others. i've attached a photo of me and andrew after lunch at morandi's. we both lived near each other in the west village and would occasionally meet to catch up. i don't remember well what we spoke about, but the one thing i remember vividly is his laugh. he spent the whole lunch laughing, making me laugh, telling outrageous and hilarious stories as he often liked to do. so here is a memory of mine that i am sharing with you, a memory of andrew that we can both hold on to and enjoy. andrew loved life and he loved you, yasmin. stay strong.

Andrew use to light up the campus and classes at Rowland Hall St. Marks with his incredible heart and soul. Being a parent of Matt who was in many of his classes I saw first hand what a wonderful spirit he was on many occasions. My wife Sallee and I are just grief stricken over this senseless tragedy and have such sympathy for you, your family, and friends. We only pray that you can find the strength to navigate through these dark days until a time you will begin to once again see his wonderful light in the many situations, pictures, people, memories, and organizations that Andrews heart and soul undoubtedly illuminated for the better of us all and his memory will bring a smile to your face. We will never forget those times he made that school shine. So many will not know how to act around you for sometime, as it is a tragedy we as parents just can not even imagine. However, keep his memory alive and celebrate his being with everyone at any chance. We are certainly can not imagine the depth of your grief, but we will be suffering along with you and will keep his memory alive especially during those times we return to that wonderful magical campus of Rowland Hall. One of Rowland Hall's finest employees of the school passed away this year and when that community came together to celebrate Ella at her memorial at the Art Barn in Salt Lake--the magic of the school and all the hearts and souls of that community instantly had a connection and warmed that room instantly. I only wish we could bring that incredible feeling to New York so you might feel that warm sense of magic that has been created on that campus over the years of which Andrew is part of. I am honored to have known Andrew and you when we participated in many of those school events. Our thoughts are certainly with you and our prayers will be long and consistent asking our dear Lord to walk with and guide you through this horrendous time and to find a wonderful place for Andrew in Heaven. His radiant smiles always touched our hearts, and will never be forgotten.

Dear Princess Yasmin:
All of us here in the United States are saddened by the passing away of your beloved son, Andrew who was a well-wisher of Alzheimer's Association.
We all must return to our Creator. A departure in such a young age is painful and only Lord is all wise and has wisdom in His every decision.
Andrew was a great son, friend, and community person who loved all the ethnic cultures and has served as an example to all of us. His work with the Alzheimer's Association and HIV/AIDS advocacy groups will long be remembered.
With great personal sorrow, I ask to share your loss and to extend my heartfelt sympathy.
Princess Yasmin, with your fortitude and courage I am sure you will adjust to your new situation. I know you are grateful for many happy years you shared with Andrew, we all admired him greatly. I know you will be brave in your sorrow as he would have wanted you to be.
My wife Rukhsana, and I send you our most sincere sympathy and, pray to the Lord to give you strength to bear your sorrow and give him the place in Heaven.
Sincerely,
Sadruddin Noorani
