Dr. Botstein was my pediatrician when a child living in the Bronx. What I remember about her was her amazing intellect, kindness and smile. She not only put me at ease, but would talk with me. Dr. Botstein didn´t take 15 minutes with you, but would spend time to find out who you were. I remember going back to Montefiori just to thank her for her wisdom as I negotiated this journey at Bronx Science. Thank you. You are still alive in my thoughts. Shalom.

Ania Botstein was part of our lives ever since she came to the United States with her young family in the early fifties, and for many decades thereafter. Not only was she an outstanding pediatrician but was endowed with exceptional qualities of empathy and warmth. We cherished her friendship for over fifty years, her wit, keen intelligence and intellect. Our condoleances to Leon, Eva, and David with our affectionate thoughts. Dr. Botstein was my pediatrician in the '60s at Montefiore Hospital. I remember she made me feel comfortable, even in rough circumstances. She was a wonderful doctor to me. My condolences to her family.
