ANNE CONRAD Obituary

CONRAD--Anne Marie. Anne Marie Gorman Conrad, 84 years old, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025. Born on January 24, 1941 to Frances and Thomas Gorman, Anne grew up in Bronxville, NY. She attended both Marymount Secondary School and Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, and held a special place in her heart for the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Anne worked as a dietitian at Misericordia Hospital before marrying Dr. George W. Conrad, her loving husband of 31 years who predeceased her in 2001. Though she saw her family through six moves in 18 years, Anne always considered Pelham, NY to be her true home and returned there in 2006. She enjoyed getting together for lunches with the ladies in her beloved "Birthday Group," and enjoyed the company of her friends and neighbors at Marbury Corners. Anne was a devoted mother to her four children, Anne (Jeffrey) Hummel, John Conrad, Marie (Blair) White, and George (Alison) Conrad. She adored and took great pride in her nine grandchildren: Connor Rockwood, Christopher Hummel, Declan Conrad, Finian Conrad, Logan Conrad, Zoe Conrad, Hayden Conrad, Jaxon White, and Harper White. Anne is survived by her sisters Lynne San Phillip, Jill Murphy and Colleen Evans. Donations made in Anne's memory to International Rett Syndrome Foundation (https://www.rettsyndrome org), Narcolepsy Network (https://narcolepsynetwork org), or Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary https://www.rshm-east.org would be greatly appreciated.
