To Aspasia, Demetri, and Nestor, I wholeheartedly offer my sincere condolences for the passing of your husband and father.
My name is Dean Moskos. I worked with your father at NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation when he worked at the 346 12th Fl. Broadway office. I was the Capital Budget Director. Anthony was a gentleman, and a true professional. We became close friends, and worked closely together on budgeting and financial project management matters for his many capital projects. It was nice having a fellow Greek at the office. He invited me once to his Upper East Side apartment for a party. He shared a lot of stories of his life and family, and was very proud of his sons. We shared our mutual love for Greece, its culture, music and food. His Greek salads were legendary when he brought them at our office parties. I missed him very much when he suddenly left HHC. I tried to keep in touch with him, but after a couple of calls, he stopped returning my calls. Nevertheless, I always remembered him fondly.
FYI, I found our about his death by chance. My daughter recently purchased a co-op at the UES, and my wife and I visited her this morning and went to the Holy Trinity Cathedral for Sunday service when I read about his death on the church bulletin. I guess God wanted me to learn about my friend's passing.
May the Lord rest his blessed soul in peace. .
