ANTHONY SARIS

SARIS--Anthony, 88, of Bolton Landing passed away on October 17, 2011 at Glens Falls Hospital. He was born on September 8, 1923 in Joliet, Illinois. Anthony served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Flight Engineer during World War II. In 1948 he graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. After graduating he was a commercial freelanced illustrator in addition to being a Professor at Pratt Institute until his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine Saris in 2008. Anthony is survived by his son, Jason Saris and his wife, Annette of Bolton Landing; his grandson, John Saris of Bolton Landing; also several nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Athena Bentas. Per his request there will be no services.
