ARNOLD SILVERBERG Obituary

SILVERBERG--Arnold, MD. The Medical Staff of Maimonides Medical Center records with deep sorrow the death of Dr. Arnold Silverberg. Dr. Silverberg was an endocrinologist in the Department of Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center for over 50 years. He served as Division Director for many years. He was an excellent physician, teacher and taught the residents all that he knew. He will be sorely missed by all his patients, colleagues and friends. I am saddened by the news that Dr. Arnold Silverberg, passed away. What a wonderful human being. Excellence is not sufficiently said in relation to the way he cared for each and every patient. He made each patient feel unique and special. He cared for us as if we were family to him. What an extraordinary doctor. If only there were more like him. Unfortunately there are not many to meet his caliber, this is why he was unique. He will be extremely missed. My sincere condolences are sent to his family, friends, co workers and especially to his patients. It will definitely be a task to find another doctor like my beloved Dr. Silverberg. It was an absolute honor to meet you and a privilege to be able to say you were my doctor. Definitely one of a kind. May you Rest In Peace, you wonderful man.
