I knew Arthur when I was just getting started as a trial attorney. He was a man of his word, decent and professional, and protective of younger lawyers who were just learning the ropes. We tried several cases together and he comes to mind from time to time as an example of how a person can be both decent and a talented legal adversary. I am a better person for having known him.
