To the Nelkin Family,
I was saddened by hearing of the passing of your mother. She was indeed a most beautiful and grace-filled woman. We were friends of hers through my brother, Kevin Maher, and twenty years ago Mrs. Nelkin was instrumental in helping us plan a magnificent wedding reception at the Hotel. To this day I remember her warmly and am grateful for her inspiration and kindness. I know that you will miss her deeply, and I will pray that all of you will be strengthened during this time.
Sincerely, Mrs. Cathy Tulloch

To Mindy, Cathy and Henry,
I was saddened to learn of Barbara's passing and understood that she was not well. Barbara was a very special friend who treated me like a son. When we worked together Barbara allowed my imagination to soar -- giving opportunities and the feeling that anything is possible. She was truly an inspiration to everyone around her. Her inherent fine taste, elegance, inspiration and sense of humor are something I will always remember and cherish. Barbara will continue to have a place in my heart and thoughts. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to The Nelkin Family and all friends of Barbara Nelkin.
Sincerely,
Kevin J. Maher

Dear Mindy, Cathy and Henry,
Deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. Susan and I (and the boys) were quite fond of her and she always had a smile for Josh and Andrew. Your parents were a part of my life for 40 plus years and for that I am grateful. Yet I am heartbroken that an era has ended. You are all in our thoughts and we wish you the very best as you greive the loss of such a wonderful woman.
With love and fondest regards,

In loving memory of a wonderful person. She was full of style and grace with an abound intellect. She was always learning something new like working on the computer and then bridge. Then she wanted to play bridge online. She was great!!! I will truly miss her like so many people whose lives she had touched. She was one of a kind.
