BERNARD WEBER Obituary

WEBER--Bernard. Beloved husband to Zipora Weber, father to Marci Weber, Staci Weber and Daniela Tisch, father-in-law to Tommy Heavey and Ben Tisch, and grandfather to Adam, Ali, Max and Isabella, passed away peacefully in his home on May 3, 2021, with his family by his bedside. Bernie was born January 3, 1930 in New York, and crammed 1,000 years of experiences into his 91 years of life. Growing up, a son to Orthodox immigrants living in a one room tenement on the Lower East Side with his parents, brother and sister, Bernie went on to live the American dream. From managing comedians in the Catskills in the 1950's and 1960's, to partnering with Jackie Mason and Charlie Callas, if it was Jewish Comedy, Bernie was always "in the room where it happened." Bernie was very proud of his work and had endless stories of his days on the comedy circuit. He later went on to a career in real estate, developing areas in Long Island and Scarsdale. He was married to his wife for 43 years, where they have lived together happily on the Upper West Side. Bernie was brilliant, he was funny, he was exciting, he was entertaining, but most of all, he was a kind, caring husband, father, father-in-law and grandpa. Bernie was adored and cherished by his friends and family and he will be deeply missed.
