BETSY WARNER

WARNER--Betsy. July 19, 1955 August 11, 2014. Betsy passed away peacefully on August 11 at the age of 59. Her optimism, kindness and courage, as well as her love and care for family and friends touched many people. She brought smiles, warmth and joy to all who knew her, especially at the Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) where she worked for over thirty years. Betsy was the beloved wife of her late husband Michael Ettelson, cherished daughter of her late father Bob and mother, Marcia, sister to Jim and Steve, sister-in-law to Priscilla and Jennifer, and aunt to five nephews and nieces. She was a devoted friend to Shella Rivers, who shared in Betsy's many triumphs. Betsy's graveside service will take place at King David Cemetery in Putnam Valley, NY at 2pm on August 13. The family will sit shiva at Jim and Priscilla Warner's home at 56 Prospect Avenue, Larchmont, NY at 6:30pm following the service.
