So sad to have just learned of Bonnie's passing. We worked together in Legal Services and were colleagues in the Housing/tenants rights movement.

As the author of the Times/Legacy obit, I am aware that I didn´t do full justice to the depth and breadth of Bonnie´s legacy. I met Bonnie when we both lived in Miami and she was part of a circle of friends that I cherish deeply. Moreover, her work on housing for people with AIDS in South Florida had an impact on many lives. Back in NYC, she continued working to secure affordable housing through her involvement with the Cooper Square Mutual Housing Association and Cooper Square Land Trust. My deepest sympathies to Bonnie´s sister Vicki, her sister-in-law Scottie, and her family. Thank you also to Bonnie's longtime friends who have, on different platforms and via email chains, shared some wonderful appreciations of Bonnie. An appreciation of her life and accomplishments in some form on an in-person/hybrid memorial will be organized. To stay informed please use the Google Form at https://bit.ly/BonnieBrower
