Bonnie was such a powerful source for good in the world. A passionate believer in social justice, she never flinched from the good fight.

So sad to have just learned of Bonnie's passing. We worked together in Legal Services and were colleagues in the Housing/tenants rights movement.

I was her teacher in law school in the criminal law clinic, and I have fond memories of her. My sympathies to her family and friends.

As the author of the Times/Legacy obit, I am aware that I didn´t do full justice to the depth and breadth of Bonnie´s legacy. I met Bonnie when we both lived in Miami and she was part of a circle of friends that I cherish deeply. Moreover, her work on housing for people with AIDS in South Florida had an impact on many lives.
