CAROL ROSENBLATT Obituary

ROSENBLATT--Carol Sue. Carol Sue Rosenblatt, nee Charney, born March 15, 1940 passed away on June 7, 2023. Carol was a tender-hearted woman of uncommon warmth, wisdom and kindness. She grew up in Brooklyn with her brother Howard, attended James Madison HS and graduated from Brooklyn College. In 1960, Carol married Donald Rosenblatt who was her husband for over 62 years. Their love was legendary, infused with affection and humor. Carol and Don first lived in Queens, moved to Livingston, NJ in 1967, and finally resided in West Orange, NJ. They raised two children, Cathy (wife of Ken Beckman) and Steven, who Carol adored as they adored her. In the 1980s, Carol started Picture This Video which turned family photos into mini-movies. In the next two decades, Carol traveled with her beloved husband across the globe. She also welcomed her grandchildren, Carly, Matthew and Alexander, who were the source of unmitigated bliss -- her love for them will reverberate through their lifetimes and beyond. Despite her recent illness, Carol remained an avatar of tenderness, sensitivity and compassion. Carol's memory will be cherished by the many people who loved her.
