CLAIRE HABERMANN Obituary

HABERMANN--Claire Eva,

died in Albany, New York on January 22, 2018 from complications of polycystic kidney disease and lung cancer surgery. Born August 7, 1960 in Southampton, NY, Claire was raised in New York City and Washington D.C. She attended the Pratt Institute School of Art and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 1983. Claire was a talented artist, working in wide variety of media, including acrylic, watercolor, photography, and textiles. Claire will be greatly missed for her wit, humor, bravery, and for her big heart. She is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Siegel of Bennington, Vermont; her father, Stanley Habermann; her sisters, Lee Wadelton, Lynne Habermann, and Jill Habermann Howe; her nieces, Anne Wadelton, Julia Howe, and Madeleine Howe; and her grand-nephew, Manolo Barinas. Claire joins her dearly departed mother, Lise Habermann, who also suffered from polycystic kidney disease.
