CLARE FRASER Obituary

FRASER--Clare Lundbeck. Clare Lundbeck Fraser, the loving wife of the late Jack Fraser, died peacefully in her sleep on October 7, 2025. Clare was a sprightly 92. Born and raised in New York City, Clare was a proud fourth-generation New Yorker and unofficial family historian. After raising two devoted children, Pamela and Beau, she turned her creative talents to interior design, becoming a highly sought-after decorator known for her timeless style and sense of color. Her work included distinguished homes and apartments in New York City, Palm Beach, Birmingham, and Dutchess County, showcased in Traditional Homes, Better Homes and Garden, Architectural Digest, and House Beautiful. Clare was a member of the Colony Club and a longstanding member of the Decorators Club. Clare leaves this world a better- looking place. A natural beauty (and a blond), people were drawn to her elegance, graciousness, and intelligence. She picked up lifelong friends everywhere she went with everywhere comprising over 23 countries -- including annual trips with Jack to Baden- Baden and beyond. Clare is survived by her children, Pam and Beau, her granddaughter, Kelly Sweeney, nephew Hilmer Graham, and niece Timothy Jane Graham. A graveside service for immediate family was held on October 14, 2025. In lieu of flowers, a thoughtful donation to The Decorators Club Education Fund in Clare's name would be a fitting way to pass on her legacy of "comfortable elegance" and to remember her.
