CYNTHIA GIBBONS Obituary

GIBBONS--Cynthia. Cynthia Hungerford Gibbons, died peacefully at home in New York on January 16, 2021. Beloved wife of Mike, mother of Jenny, Jeff, Mike and Laura, grandmother of Kate, Sophie, Caroline and Olivia. Cynthia was born in St. Louis, MO, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Bette Jane and Teen. She was a gifted and talented painter who had a distinguished career as a curator and art consultant. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

I am so sorry to learn of Cynthia´s passing. She was often in my thoughts and I was sorry we lost touch over the years. Cynthia was so talented in many ways and so much fun to be with. I know how much she is missed...

Cynthia was a wonderful friend. Our parents were BEST friends and we loved that!! She had such talent and her smile filled a room. She is missed by so many, especially me!

I am so sorry to receive this news. GI was in the class '57 and last saw Cynthia at our 50th MI Class Reunion in 2007 in St. Louis. I have fond memories of those days. I send my sympathy to her husband, her children, and all in her family.
