Dan and I went to school together in OKC in the late 70s. We had a lot of fun adventures and managed to stay on the right side of the law, but not always are parents. In 1982, when I went to college, he went to New York. When I spent several weeks in New York in 1992, we went to dinner and caught up. We would catch up over the years, the last time starting in 2023. We talked on the phone several times over the next few months. I couldn´t get a hold of him for several months and chalked it up to traveling. Finally, I googled and found this. I am saddened to learn my old friend is gone. RIP Dan. You were one of a kind.

We meet Dan and Todd in 2002 as they walked through our room at Kips Bay Showhouse. They had just purchased a new apartment and wanted us to design it for them. Over the years we went on to work for them on several projects.
We had the great fortune to develop a friendship of trust and
respect.
Dan was one of the kindest people we have met. He had a wicked sense of humor and whenever we spoke it always ended with a good laugh.
It was a privilege to have known him and will always have a special place in our hearts.

I miss my buddy. Dan had a wicked sense of humor, and even when he was going through things we label is bad, he still kept it.
One of the only people who could make me belly laugh.
I miss him dearly. A generous, funny, and kind soul. 21 years ago, he took me and Todd and three other friends to Marrakesh for his 40th birthday. First class all the way, and wouldn´t let us pay for anything.
