I look here and am again filled with tears thinking of David and his father Bobby. They were two of the highlights of my life. we had so much fun together at our unique small law firm in the penthouse downtown overlooking the harbor. Every day was an adventure of fun and law and it was like being at home with no rules, no pretenses, food everywhere. We had a library designed by David with no bookshelves so it wasn't exactly easy to get the ones in back. As I say, his dog was there so my leftover Greek salad was gone before I would notice. For his father's birthday David hired a woman to come in dressed as a secretary who turned out to be a stripper. David always was doing things to make me feel at home and to make me feel part of the family since it was he and his father that were the firm. Well, Davey, you're gone and sure not forgotten. Thanks for the memories.

I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. I loved him dearly. Though I hadn't seen him in years I knew him at one time very well. I worked together with him for several years in a law firm along with his dear father Irwin ("Bobby"), a then retired judge. The firm was called Brownstein & Brownstein. We had a ball practicing law and sharing a lot of laughs. It was not your typical law firm. David brought his beloved dog Oliver to work with us. David was always a warm genuine down to earth loving man and extremely bright and sharp and witty. RIP David

So sad to hear about David´s Passing. I knew him From Los Angeles and we kept in touch after he moved back to New York. One of the funniest guys I´ve ever met. A true friend. So unfair what he had to go through.
My deepest condolences.
