DAVID OCKERT Obituary

OCKERT--David Ph.D. David Ockert, son of Edward Ockert, Jr. and Theresa S. Ockert, was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was a pioneer in outpatient detoxification for alcohol and opioids. He researched and wrote numerous professional articles in the field of addiction treatment. He took pride in and devoted his life to caring for his patients. He loved his family, music, and especially his cars. He is survived by his wife Alexandra, his daughters Isabella and Lily, and his brother Edward. A private memorial service will be announced.
