DONALD CARLIN Obituary

CARLIN--Donald, passed away after a brief illness on November 11th, 2009. He was Co-Founder and President of Kahn-Carlin Company Inc., and Founder and Chairman of LEO Charitable Foundation for Law Enforcement Officers. An ardent supporter of the performing and visual arts, Donald gave generously to the building of the new Performing Arts Center of Greater Miami, to the Florida Grand Opera, The New World Symphony, The Miami City Ballet, The University of Miami and Barry University. In the year 2000, Donald was recognized as Outstanding Philanthropist of the year, by The National Society of Fund Raising. Donald is survived by his wife Audre, sister Ginger Smith and nephew Roy Fabry.
