EDMUND ALEXANDER Obituary

ALEXANDER--Edmund Brooke. Brooke Alexander, 85, gallerist and publisher, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 23rd. He is remembered and mourned by his family, Carolyn Alexander; daughters, Emily and Jessica; granddaughters, Paloma, Stella, Astrid and Marina; and his staff at Brooke Alexander, Inc. Donations in his name can be made to the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Museum of Modern Art.

To the family and friends of Brooke Alexander,

I´m shocked and beyond saddened to hear of Brooke´s passing. Brooke and Carolyn Alexander were among the first gallerists who took time from their schedules (over four decades ago) to meet with a kid who traveled to NYC from Michigan to show them fine art prints he helped create with a spirited group of artists.

Brooke's early kindness and support helped grow a dream. He will be remembered forever.
