Sad to hear the Dr Meucke's passing. The 2nd time we met, I was under general aneasthesia so do not recall much of that interaction save for a small scar. Here's to a good friend of the family, family Dr and client of our. A shining example and now a shining star.

I´m deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Muecke´s passing. He became my doctor in 1970 when I was just six months old and continued to care for me for the next 33 years. His kindness, dedication, and expertise made a lasting impact on my life, and I will always be grateful for the care he provided. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

Dr. Edward Muecke was my doctor for approximately twelve years, until he retired. I remember worrying, "geez what am I going to do now" when I was told. I really felt at a loss. I´d come to rely on him, his manner, his thoroughness and so very much more that one uses to gauge a medical professional. I remember receiving a typed, two page letter from Dr. Muecke after my first appointment, wherein he recapped and made follow-up suggestions. Wow! then.
WOW!! now.
A great doctor and a great human being.

Dr. Was my surgeon in 1988. He saved my life (not exaggerating) was kind, cheerful, knowledgeable, caring, open hearted, everything one hopes for in a doctor but so seldom find. He remained my doctor for over 20 years guiding me through 2 cancer diagnosis and al the associated worry. What a blessed difference he made in my life, made it possible for me to experience the joy of a full life. What a blessing he was.

Dr. Muecke took care of me from 1977 until his retirement.
He always greeted me with a smile and made me feel good even in my most dire condition.
His expertise and his comforting ways made him not only a great dr. But also great man..

He was a close friend of and doctor to my father, Dr. Colter Rule, who chuckled when I told him Dr. Muecke was my doctor as well, many years later. I knew from my fathers ironic laugh that they had shared many fun, intimate moments. He was thoughtful, kind and thorough as my Doctor, so very briefly in the early 2000's. Then we met Will and Diane and I shared our fun coincidence. Katy and I send our sincerest thoughts and condolences to all Edward's clan. To an amazing life, well lived. Amen.

Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of meeting Dr. Muecke. But I am sure that it has been a pleasure for him to know that he has left his footprints. Two years ago, I got to know his son Will. A great character, always humble and nice even in though business situations. I'm sure his father will have had a great influence on his son's great character.
Will, I wish you and your family much strength and am very happy to owe your father (indirectly) an excellent business partner and good friend.

Dr. Muecke was a most special physician, highly respected by my mother who was tenderly treated by Dr Muecke. She saved a Letter he wrote to her which I´ve retained - an example of a physician who deeply cared for his patients. He and my mother enjoyed conversation. I too saw him on my mother´s recommendation and found the same tender care. Years ago I ran into him during a walk. He was so gracious when I said hello; a European authentic charm and a role model for the kind of physician we all want.

Dr Muecke was the most civilized man I ever knew, and the kindest and gentlest of souls. A post-exam sit-down with him in his office was less a medical consultation than a shmooze with a favorite uncle who seemed prepared to give you unlimited time and discuss any topic. He treated my body as if it were a treasure chest to be tampered with only in the direst circumstances. He was a dear man and his loss is a heartache for all who knew and loved him.
