SCHLESINGER--Edward. The American Jewish Committee mourns the passing of Edward S. Schlesinger, a long-time friend of AJC. We will miss greatly his wisdom, his dedication to the well-being of the Jewish people, and his wit. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family. David Harris, Exec. Dir.

My heartfelt condolences to all the family. I was privileged to meet and get to know Ed Schlesinger through my work at The Jewish Museum. Through the Croll Foundation, he supported free Saturdays for all at the Museum which continues today. He was a caring man. May his memory be a blessing.

The Salvation Army of Greater New York is so grateful for the life and generosity of Edward S. Schlesinger. He gave so that suffering people could live!
