I was a curator in the 20th Century Art Department at the MET in the late 1970s when I first got to know Eliot Nolan. She was an intrepid volunteer training to do tours for the New Wing that opened in 1987 and a solid researcher for the staff. Ever gracious and enthusiastic she was an incredible presence at the Museum. I feel privileged to have known and worked with her and Wilson.

Sincere condolences to the Nolen family. I am a current Met Visitor's Experience volunteer, and I have enormous thanks and regards for this wonderful institution and the opportunity to serve as created by ELIOT NOLEN.
