ELIZABETH ROHATYN Obituary
The Board of Directors and staff of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and our entire community mourn the passing and celebrate the life of Elizabeth F. Rohatyn, our former Board President and Honorary Board Chair. Elizabeth, one of New York's leading philanthropists, worked tirelessly to improve our organization and the lives of thousands in need. Her devotion to Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and our clients never waned and has served as an inspiration to so many. Our annual award for Community Service - the Elizabeth F. Rohatyn Award for Community Service - reflects Elizabeth's belief in the importance of service to others and will serve as a continuing tribute to her life's mission. We are profoundly grateful for Elizabeth's unparalleled leadership of and steadfast loyalty to Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and send our deepest sympathy to her husband Felix and their entire family.
