Ellen was my friend in Poland Ohio when we were teenagers.
I am sorry to her of her death.
She was one of a kind and I wish I could have met her children.
Rest in peace Ellen.

Ellen was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, financial advisor and friend. I can't begin the summer without thinking about her. Ellen's passing left a void in our lives, but her quick wit and beautiful smile is ever present in my memory.

I have moved to Florida and being near the ocean all of the time is a constant reminder of Ellen and how much she loved it and how much she loved life. I think of her often; the times a group of us from the office would go out for drinks after work, I remember a time she rented the boat for family and friends, I have a little, teeny, tiny oil she painted for me of the ocean at one of her classes, and I have a lobster cheese knife she gave me that I use even in the winter. We shared more than a common wall for over a year in an office. Ellen was someone I looked up to and admired, she was always so smartly dressed, with a beautiful smile, such a quick wit and sharp businesswoman. She once told me "keep on rowing". That's what i'm doing. I miss her as I am certain that each of her friends still miss her. Her loss is still felt most by her beloved family though as it left a deep void that can now only be filled with love and cherished memories,

I'm devastated to learn of your loss. I was Ellen's client for nearly 20 years, but more importantly, she was a cherished friend. Her immense wisdom, warmth, and wit were precious and unique. I'll sorely miss her and our wonderful conversations about everything aside from her brilliant insights about the market.
To Andrew, Liz, and Jean: I feel as if I know you all personally. Your mother spoke of you often with such love and pride.
May you, your family, and friends find comfort in your memories of this vibrant, loving, generous and kind woman.
Sincerely,

Ellen at my birthday party at Ram's Gate Winery in Sonoma, CA.

Your loss is deeply felt as Ellen is a fellow neighborhood friend in the Youngstown area. Struthers/Poland. She was my financial advisor/friend for the past 20 years through her friendship with Jay Philomena. Our hour long conversations were taken from me and I loved them. I got a note Monday from her about the great "bubbly" wineries here in Sonoma/Napa and that was the coda of her thoughtfulness and special personality.

Ellen was a rare person in this world. She was kind, caring and giving while also being an independent, successful and driven woman. I know that I will miss her as a colleague and friend. I know that her memory will inspire others.

It was truly a pleasure working with you. You were a vivacious, giving woman and will be dearly missed. You were always very kind to me and quite funny too as we shared some laughs. God bless you and your family, may they find strength in your memory and each other - you yourself were a very strong woman, My most deepest sympathies. Rest in Peace Ellen.
