ENID MORSE

MORSE--Enid. The Board of Trustees and staff of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum mourn the loss of trustee alumna and dear friend, Enid "Dinny" Morse. A trustee from 2001-2021, board chair from 2003-2006, and vice chair from 2006-2020, Dinny was an esteemed and enthusiastic advocate for the museum. With her husband, Lester, Dinny supported numerous initiatives over the years, including the Morse Historic Design Lecture Series, the National Design Awards, and the museum's last major renovation in which the Enid and Lester Morse Gallery was established. Her legacy and all she contributed to the museum will also continue through the Enid and Lester Morse General Operating Endowment Fund. We extend our deepest sympathies to Lester and the entire Morse family.
