FELIX WROBLEWSKI Obituary

WROBLEWSKI--Dr. Felix. Died, June 10, 2013, at age 91 in New York City. He is survived by his children, Miriam (Luis Pinon), David, Jonathan (Joyce Klein) and Daniel (Odia), his grandchildren, Aaron (Stephanie Park), Sarah, Hannah, Kayla, Ben, Reuven, Caleb, Deborah, Elisheva, Rebecca, Stella, and Yoni, and his former wife, Dr. Rita Lifschutz Wroblewski. Born August 8, 1921, he graduated from Stuyvesant High School, NYU, and NYU School of Medicine. An internist, Dr. Wroblewski was renowned for his groundbreaking discoveries of how changes in blood enzymes could uncover disease. He received numerous honors as a researcher, educator and brilliant clinician. He was a loving, caring and generous father.

I have known Dr. Wroblewski very well in Memorial Hospital. He was a marvelous person, a good teacher, and he taught me a lot about cardiology.

Dear Mimi and Family, I was so sorry to read that your beloved father passed away. I have such nice memories of being at your home in Roslyn. I know it's been decades since I last saw you, but I do think of you!

A great dad-my dad. He was generous, kind,brilliant and a compassionate doctor. He made great contributions to medicine as a discipline and to the health of countless individuals. I will always be grateful for his love and support. He is always with me.
