Florence McQuilling Obituary

McQUILLING--Florence Vars, born September 5, 1932, died November 7, 2007. The daughter of Glenen King Vars and Florence Lane Vars, and known to all as "Dudy", she grew up in Great Neck, NY. She graduated from Connecticut College for Women with the Class of 1954. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, James Alexander McQuilling; her loving children Thomas Alexander McQuilling, Kathleen McQuilling Balderston, Carol McQuilling McMorris, Andrew Vars McQuilling; and 16 adoring grandchildren, one granddaughter having predeceased her. In repose at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, 1570 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, NY Thursday November 8 and Friday November 9, 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, November 10 at 10am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 1300 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, NY. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
