I often enjoyed sharing lunch with Florence and Judith Lorber after Rosh Hashona services. As the New Year approaches, I find myself remembering the good conversation, and feeling thankful for the gift of friendship that I received at these luncheon celebrations.

I think about Florence all the time. I miss our lunches, theater, and especially her involvement with East End Temple Sisterhood. I will donate to Food for Families to commemorate her yahrzeit.

I volunteered with Florence at Learning Leaders. She was a dynamic force who cared about her community. Living to 94, she had the chance to live a full life. With sympathy to you all.

It took a special kind of strength and tenacity to succeed in the "boys club" of consumer publishing sales. She was BIG: A big personality and a pleasure to know. She had good taste too. I. liked her a ton and will miss our lunches.

Florence was a dear friend. We shared many theater performances and lunches over the years. She was a wonderful editor of the East End Temple newsletter. I miss her very much.
