FOULATH HADID Obituary

HADID--Foulath, on 29th September 2012 passed away peacefully after a short illness. Philanthropist and scholar; educated at Victoria College, Alexandria and Christ's College, Cambridge, Honorary Fellow of St Antony's College, Oxford. Author of Iraq's Democratic Movement which will be published by Hurst on 12th October 2012. Loving father to Tala and Nick, husband to Kenza and brother to Haytham and Zaha Hadid. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday 2nd October; family only. The family would like to receive visitors between 4pm - 9pm, Thursday 4th October in the Ballroom at The Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park, London. Nous avons appris avec une douleur incommensurable la disparition de Foulath.
Malgré un parcours de vie si riche, intense, polyédrique, Foulath avait gardé une âme d'une fraîcheur et, j'oserais dire, d'une innocence qui le rendaient si attachant, en même temps que sa capacité d'attraper des fous rires et d'en provoquer grâce à un subtil sens de l'humour.

Il restera unique et inoubliable dans notre coeur, ami humain, généreux,"schietto", fidéle depuis les années 60.

Son immense énergie de vie qui faisait penser, hélas, qu'il était immortel, est forcément quelque part et soutient les gens qu'il aime.

Toutes nos condoléances affectueuses à Tala, sa mamman, Haytham et toute la famille, une famille exceptionnellement douée et aimante.
