Frances Lacey Obituary
The daughter of Patrick and Ida Murphy, Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 16, 1923 and died in Oceanside, NY on June 27, 2015. She was the sister of George, Agnes (Waldron), Irene (Dyksinski), John and James.
Frances was married to Francis P. Lacey from 1949 until his death in 1978. She was a loving mother to Helen Nelson (Harry), Robert (Sherry), William (Jane), and Theresa (Thomas Mackay). She was a devoted, and playful, grandmother to Alexander, Morgan, William, Luke and Sarah.
Over the years, Frances also lived in Upper Manhattan, Daytona Beach, FL, Forest Hills, NY and Merrick, NY.
Viewing will be at N.F. Walker Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Ave, Merrick. Funeral Mass held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church 720 Merrick Ave, North Merrick, NY 11566. Interment at The cemetery of the Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
