MEYER--Fred J. The staff and Board of Trustees of Earthjustice express our profound sorrow and deepest sympathies to the family for the loss of our great friend and longtime Trustee Fred Meyer. Fred was a rock and source of great wisdom, fidelity, clarity and constancy of vision, accountability, perception, humor, compassion and worldly acumen and knowledge. He spoke his mind, but always with tact and a smile and the purpose of providing constructive guidance. He was devoted to the organization and its mission, which he served and supported unstintingly from 1999 - 2011, and was a shining reminder that we will succeed by avoiding narrow visions and by being bold and inclusive. Fred was a friend and will be missed by all.
