To Mrs. Erb, John and Debbie Erb and the rest of the Erb Family, I am sorry I was not able to attend the funeral today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this difficult time and I am sorry for your loss. I am very proud and honored to have worked for Fred and Erb Lumber for 33 years. I learned many things and loved every minute of it. Fred was a very special man. Smart, articulate and he ran his company successfully. He will be missed.

Barbara, John and family, I fondly remember Fred for his loyalty, benevolence, and attention to detail - we will all remember his penchant for the "yellow" pad. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Fred Erb. Mr Erb was not only a great businessman but also a person who helped many over his career to start their own businesses including mine. I will always be grateful for his confidence in me.
