GERALD CRAMER Obituary

CRAMER--Gerald B.

The firm of Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn (CRM) extends its deepest condolences to the family of Gerald B. Cramer. As the founder of CRM, Gerry brought his own unique vision, energy, and creativity to our investment process which endures to this day. Gerry was both a mentor and a partner to so many throughout his career. He often spoke of his service in the U.S. Navy as being formative in his philosophy of life. Be it investing, discovering a vineyard, or embarking on a new venture, Gerry believed one should always "look over the horizon." One of his greatest qualities was inspiring and motivating those around him to push themselves to achieve personally and professionally. Gerry's perspective was so poignantly captured in his memoir Bullish On Life, where he detailed his life and investment experiences. Gerry was our leader, our partner, and above all, our beloved friend. His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, and all of us at CRM.

To the Cramer Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
