Harvey will always be remembered by his former employees and work associate as a caring and nurturing employer. It is because of him that many of us are enjoying our retirement.

Dear Weinstein family,

It's hard for me to imagine my years growing up in the tuxedo business without thinking of Harvey. Always a gentleman and an incredible role model. I so fondly remember our trips manhattan and then to queens. Even though I was a young woman, Harvey always listened to my thoughts and ideas. He helped me grow into the woman I am today. Some of my most cherished memories is having Harvey and Susan at our wedding, and catching up each year with holiday cards. It is obvious Harvey had a positive relationship with so many people. I consider it an honor to have known him and been taught by him. May you find comfort in knowing he has touched so many of us deeply. Sincerely

I was most disturbed and sorry to learn of Harvey's passing. I knew him mainly in our college years together in Chapel Hill. We were roommates together for a year after we came back from the war in the Pacific. We saw each other several times in recent years. He was a charming wonderful guy with a deep resonating voice. His aura and personality provided him with many friends - a pleasure to be around. Joan and I offer our sincere condolences to Susan and their families. It is certainly a great loss.

Dear Weinsteins,

"The Cook Girls" will always cherish our loving memories of Harvey and your family. Like the Brady Bunch, we shared an unusual and wonderful family experience, filled with Sunday night dinners and Summers in the Hamptons. Harvey took me under his wing when I was just 7 years old and guided me in a fatherly-fashion: 30 years later I still hear him telling me to stand up straight and keep my raquet back. In my memory, Harvey will always be full of life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

Love,

Bill Robertson

To all of Harvey's family, It was an honor and pleasure to know Harvey both as a supplier and a mentor when we worked together. I will always remember his leadership and compassion for others. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!!!

From Harvey's other family, Lord West. Harvey touched the lives of many people, but none more then those he worked with for many years in New York and Woodside. He was a father figure, a mentor and a great person to work for. Nothing says it better then the respect his employees showed when they called him Mr. Harvey. He will remain forever in our lives as we carry on the high ethical standards he set for us all.

Today I will celebrate Harv's life.
I will cherish the gift of knowing such a magnificent human being. He was like a father to me. He has touched my life and holds a place in my heart that is his forever.

Some of the greatest memories of my life are because of you, Harv. I will especially think of you every time I eat lobster. I love you more than you will ever know. You are so dear to me.

I am sending all the love that could possibly be imagined and wrapping it around the entire family.

Melinda
