HEATHER UGHETTA

UGHETTA--Heather. Heather Paltz Ughetta of Larchmont, NY passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 at the age of 49. She leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years, Ted Ughetta, and her beloved and cherished children Teddy, 17, and Caroline, 14. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Carole Paltz, sister Kristen Paltz and brother Robb Paltz. She was predeceased by her father, Robert C. Paltz. She also leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews and many loyal and loving friends. Heather was born on September 24, 1972 and was raised in Manlius, NY. From a young age, she excelled at field hockey and academic pursuits, eventually receiving both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University. Heather had a successful career in marketing and communications at IBM and Accenture. Raising her family in Larchmont, NY, she enjoyed watching her children participate in many sports and other activities, and vacationing with family and friends in Lake Placid, NY. A slow judge of fast horses, Heather had a sharp wit, a bright and infectious smile, and a generous spirit. She loved to laugh, have fun and always sought to put others at ease. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Heather was taken from us far too soon, and she will be dearly and greatly missed. A funeral mass will be held at the Church of St. Augustine, 18 Cherry Avenue, Larchmont, NY on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11am.
