Kathryn Elmer (aka Kathy)
January 30, 2024
To Bill Jr.,
This is Kathy Elmer. I remember you when we were kids and classmates at Carder School. And I remember your mom. I grew up close by, on 4th St. I realize you likely do not remember me since it has been so long. Out of the blue- one thing led to another - I just happened to learn this evening of your father´s recent passing and decided to write to you. I also informed my close friend from childhood, Pinky Johnson (aka Elise Johnson-Schmidt, architect) of your dad´s obituary. Maybe you remember her. She has fond memories of your mom and dad, and sends her condolences. Please know I am sending you my deep sympathy. There is nothing like losing one´s parent, and nothing like having lost both of them. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. Wishing you peace and ever-flourishing precious memories.

My condolences to the Ughetta family, with which I share a close association with the University Club of NY. Sorry to lose a respected life member. Jason
