SUPRUN--Hedva. November 17, 1928-September 8, 2023 (22 Elul 5783) Hedva Suprun, 94, of Encinitas, California, died on Friday in Seacrest Village. She was the wife of the late Dr. Harry Suprun. Hedva was born in Tel-Aviv and moved to the US in 1993 with her late husband to join their daughters and their families. Hedva obtained her pharmacy diploma in Lausanne, Switzerland, and later also became a chemistry high-school teacher. Teaching Hebrew in Muhlenberg College, Allentown, PA, later in life emphasized her passion for her native tongue. A multifaceted individual and an avid reader, Hedva was well-respected by many for her unique talent for teaching, her artistic capabilities and her impeccable knowledge of historical events/current worldwide affairs and multiple languages. Hedva is survived by her two daughters, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside service held on September 10, 2023, at El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, California.
