As previously reported, I worked for Helene Fortunoff for 31 + years. .She was one of the few most influential people in my life. Mrs. Fortunoff was honest and direct to a fault. Not always the most agreeable to my designs and plans, but was most consistently the most logical and correct. Mrs. Fortunoff remains the most recurring personality in my nightly dreams and I am most honored to have known and worked for her.

wow so very saddened ... amazed at the extent of her philanthropic work...i still remember their wedding in new jersey in 1953 ... more recently when visiting her friends in
Boca she occasionally stopped into my store and was always interested in my own life ... hope in the future, misfortune skips the fortunoff family ...you have had more than your share regards harvey

OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO HELENE'S CHILDREN WHO ARE OUR COUSINS. BOTH SHE AND HER BELOVED ALAN WERE THERE TO SUPPORT US UPON THE UNTIMELY PASSING OF OUR FATHER HYMAN, MOTHER BEATRICE, AND OUR UNCLE SAUL WHO WERE ALL VERY CLOSE TO BOTH OF THEM BEING OF THE SAME GENERATION. IN ADDITION TO THEIR MANY STERLING QUALITIES, THEY BOTH WERE INSTRUMENTAL WITH AUNT CLARA FORTUNOFF WITH PUTTING US ON THE FORTUNOFF GENEOLOGY "HUNT" OF WHICH WE WOULDN'T HAVE SUCCEEDED WITHOUT THEIR HELP. MAY G_D ALLOW HELENE TO REST PEACEFULLY IN GANEDEN. AMEN.

Helene was an inspiration to us all. She cherished her family and friends and worked hard to bring people together for social, business and charitable causes. Her energy and determination got things done and was a driving factor in her being a highly sought after board member, business partner and loyal friend.

Helene will be missed. Our condolences to Robert, her family and all who loved her.
