HERBERT BLUMBERG Obituary

BLUMBERG--Herbert J. (Herb), age 92, passed away peacefully at his home in Westbury, NY on September 14, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years Roslyn, his children Elise (David) Graham, Michele (Judah) Kraushaar, and David (Sydna), eight adoring grandchildren and five great-grand- children. Herb co-founded Auto Barn stores 66 years ago and loved going into his office daily until earlier this year. He had an irrepressibly optimistic personality, a great sense of humor, and a contagious zest for life. His family meant everything to him; and they, in turn, feel blessed to have had such a wonderful role model and inspiration in their lives. Burial Sunday, September 17 at New Montefiore Cemetery.

SO sorry to hear this sad news. Mr. Blumberg was a wonderful person, a wonderful friend of my parents for many years, and a great boss to work for.
