Her obituary said it so well: "Rebbetzin par excellence." Her love for the role she played in our shul radiated from within. Rest in peace.

The Eisenberg family extends heartfelt sympathy to the Greenberg family. We remember Hilda sitting in the pew at Temple Sinai signaling to Rabbi on the bimah, guiding him if he needed to speak louder, speed up, etc. May her memory always be for a blessing.

I had the honor of doing Shmira for the late Mrs. Hilda Greenberg. I actually first met her in Philadelphia in the early '50s. My late father, Prof. Nahum Sarna had just arrived from London to pursue his PhD and Rabbi Gewenberg gave him his first job in the US.
He always spoke well of both Rabbi and Mrs. Greenberg and stayed in touch for the next 50 years.
RINA and I spent an amazing summer together in Israel touring with Ramah.
She was carefully watched from her passing until her beautiful Levaya. May her memory be for a blessing

My condolences to the family during this sad time. May God help your heart to heal over time (Psalm 147:3).

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of "Aunt" Hilda. My parents were close friends of the Greenbergs for many years, and I remember her as a beautiful, lovely, classy, charming woman.
