Hillel was an original--a distinguished practitioner, a deep thinker, more than willing to share his opinions, and afire with the importance of his mission in the world--to help others and to try to make systems and organizations more capable of doing so.

Hillel Bodek was an indispensable part of the Social Work community, helped so many of us, especially those who needed advice with cases that had legal aspects. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt sympathy to his family at this difficult time.

To Hillel's family-He was a wonderful, knowledgeable teacher. If ever I had a question of an ethical nature, he was always available to help. The course he offered on End-of-Life was of tremendous value to me professionally and personally. Kathleen Quinn

To the Bodek Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
